RobStagnoRob Stagno | is a versatile guitarist, having played everything from Gypsy Jazz to the Beatles for over 20 years. He has played in rock bands in both New York and Seattle. Rob plays electric and acoustic guitar, mandolin and just about anything else with strings!  Rob plays a variety of period and authentic instruments true to the Gypsy Jazz tradition.  We blame Rob for everything – Swing 42 was his idea!

pit1McNeil Johnston | has been a working musician since 1976.  A classically trained composer, pianist and violinist, Mac took up jazz bass and violin as a rebellion against a rigid classical upbringing and has been hooked ever since!  His violin playing celebrates that unique blend of classic refinement and hard swinging good fun that Gypsy Jazz is known for.

John TaylorJohn Taylor | has been playing guitar in bands since his teens. Growing up in Rockland County New York listening to The Beatles and the Stones, John has played virtually all types of music in clubs around the tri-state area: from rock to blues, country, new wave, funk, metal and solo guitar. Classically trained, he has performed in ensembles and as an accompanist.  The heart of Swing 42 with his rock-steady,  rhythmic drive he gives us the pulse – Le Pompe!
